QUALITY POLICY

  • To document, certify and continuously improve our Quality Management System to meet the requirements of the TS ISO 9001 standard,

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

BENOPLAST aims to continuously improve its activities in order to prevent negative environmental impacts and pollution. It will systematically monitor and continuously improve its environmental performance with its TS EN ISO 14001 environmental management system.

In this direction;

  • To comply with all applicable legal and other requirements in relation to our environmental aspects,
  • Optimum use of all resources required for our production activities,
  • To establish goals and objectives for the reduction and control of emissions and wastes to all environmental media and to emphasise significant environmental impacts,
  • To prevent pollution at source, taking into account the environmental impact of our production activities,
  • Fulfilling our responsibility to systematically store, recycle and dispose of all types of waste generated by our operations,
  • To take and implement the necessary measures to calculate and reduce the carbon footprint,
  • We are committed to ensuring that the established environmental management system is effectively maintained and improved.

 

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

BENOPLAST aims to continuously improve its activities to ensure worker safety. With its TS EN ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, it will systematically monitor and continuously improve its OHS performance.

In this direction;

  • BENOPLAST provides a safe and healthy working environment by meeting all legal and institutional working conditions related to OHS,
  • To carry out continuous improvement activities in order to eliminate all dangers that threaten the safety of life and property such as illness, injury, fire,
  • It will protect the employees against the risks of work accidents,
  • To comply with all legal and other conditions that we are subject to,
  • To ensure the participation of employees and employee representatives in OHS activities,
  • It undertakes that production and support departments will operate within the framework of this policy in the design, operation and maintenance of all facilities and equipment.

 

ENERGY POLICY

BENOPLAST is committed to using energy efficiently in all its processes and continuously improving its Energy Management System and Energy Performance. With the TS ISO 50001 Energy Management System, it systematically monitors and continuously enhances its energy performance.

In this regard;

BENOPLAST is committed to complying with applicable legal requirements relating to energy efficiency, energy use, and energy consumption, as well as national and international energy regulations, standards, and other relevant requirements in force,

  • Set measurable goals and targets to improve energy efficiency in all our operations, review these targets periodically, and continuously improve energy performance,
  • Reducing the energy intensity of our production and all processes,
  • Efficiently utilizing energy and natural resources with a sustainable and traceable production approach, and carrying out effective and transparent initiatives to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions,
  • Minimizing energy losses and maximizing the utilization of emitted gases and waste heat,
  • Preferring energy-efficient technologies and practices for the improvement of production facilities and new investment activities, as well as for the equipment and services to be purchased,
  • Raising awareness among all our employees regarding energy management, ensuring that the training sessions in this regard are conducted in person, walking towards the same goal in synchronization with all our stakeholders, and establishing effective communication,
  • Supporting the design of in-facility equipment, systems, and processes related to energy consumption, usage, and efficiency in a way that enhances energy performance,
  • Setting goals in line with the energy policy and providing all necessary information and resources to achieve these goals,
  • Commitment to maintain and continuously improve the Energy Performance and Energy Management System, which is regularly reviewed, evaluated, and improved by top management, and to integrate it into the corporate culture.

 

FOOD SAFETY POLICY

  • To produce and present products that meet defined and measurable quality criteria, are free from physical, chemical and microbiological contamination, do not endanger human health and meet customer requirements and expectations,
  • To ensure good production, good hygiene practices and appropriate environmental conditions,
  • Food Safety Management System; to continuously improve, develop and increase its effectiveness, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and to maintain our leadership in the sector,
  • We are always committed to being a reliable facility.

 

HUMAN RESOURCES POLICY

  • Our human resources policy is based on a "people first" approach.
  • To follow a participatory management policy that brings together different perspectives and knowledge,
  • To support activities that will increase employee motivation in order to increase organizational commitment and strengthen internal communication,
  • To establish and develop systems to ensure that the right person is employed in the right place, in line with our mission and vision, through the medium and long-term planning of the institution's human resources,
  • Draw up training plans in line with the analysis of the training needs of the employees,
  • Supporting employees with performance-based authorisation, recognition, appreciation and personal development practices and enabling employees to progress within their roles,

HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY

BENOPLAST regards respect for human rights as a fundamental principle at every stage of its operations and aims to maintain fair, respectful and inclusive relationships with all its stakeholders.

  • Protect the rights of every individual without discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, disability status, or any other factor,
  • Upholding the right of our employees to fair treatment and equal opportunities,
  • Demonstrate an honest and respectful attitude in all interactions,
  • Preventing human rights violations and taking swift and effective action against any violations that are discovered,
  • Raise awareness among our employees of their obligation to promptly report any situation or suspicion of a human rights violation to their managers or the Human Resources Department,
  • Ensure that all reported violations are investigated in a confidential manner and that appropriate action is taken,
  • Provide regular training to our employees on social compliance and human rights to raise awareness, and ensure that this training focuses on how to identify and prevent human rights violations,
  • Establish and maintain a business relationship with our suppliers and partners that respects human rights,
  • We are committed to ensuring compliance with social compliance standards when selecting suppliers.

 

CHILD LABOUR IMPROVEMENT POLICY

BENOPLAST strictly rejects child labour and respects labour standards, ethical values, and human rights. This policy defines the principles and strategies to combat child labour. Child labour violates the rights of all employees to grow up safe, healthy and with access to education, and our company has a zero tolerance policy towards such practices.

  • Child labour is never accepted under any circumstances. We ensure that all individuals working in our factory are over the age of 18, in compliance with local and international child labour laws,
  • Creating support programs aimed at preventing child labor, to ensure that children are able to receive an education instead of working,
  • Ensuring full compliance with local laws in our country, International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, and international agreements such as the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child in our efforts to combat child labour,
  • Contributing to projects that combat child labour by collaborating with local and international non-governmental organizations, governments, and other stakeholders,
  • Creating a work culture that is sensitive to child labour,
  • Recognising that the right to education is the most effective protection against child labour, we prioritise the education, health and safety rights of workers in our factory,
  • Providing information about the prohibition of child labour and suggesting alternative solutions for workforce sourcing,
  • In the event of detecting child labour, immediately halting work and fulfilling legal responsibilities, and ensuring that relationships with suppliers who do not comply with standards are terminated during the recruitment process,
  • Supporting our employees with opportunities that improve their standard of living, thereby preventing child labour,
  • Collaborating with local authorities and educational institutions to provide financial and social support to families, ensuring that their children can continue their education,
  • We are committed to dealing fairly and promptly with any complaints relating to child labour.
